Coloured sanitary ware for the bathroom is back in the limelight. In recent years, in fact, colours have become very popular, even though glossy white retains its timeless appeal. In gloss and especially in matt finishes colours have been gaining favour and get pride of place in the manufacturers’ palettes.

Besides matt options, definitely of interest are the metallic finishes that endow any bathroom environment with personality. At Cersaie 2021, Flaminia presented two new silvery nuances.

Metallic decor

Flaminia has always experimented with colour, which it views as a creative element in product development, on a par with form and design.

In its experimentation with colours for sanitary ware, the company has gone beyond the creation of original, one-of-a-kind hues, composing the Stripes colour scheme for its Flag collection and a number of innovative metal finishes.

Flaminia’s colour palette for its sanitary ware has now been enriched with two, original silvery nuances: Silver Black and Silver White. Ceramic “wears” silver in two different shades, a lighter and a darker one.

The palette of the brand now includes four metallic finishes:

–       Metal Gold

–       Metal Platinum

–       Silver Black

–       Silver White

The first two are applied to glossy white surfaces and can be had on the following collections: Roll, Nile, Monowash, Miniwash, Flag, Link, Saltodacqua, Boll.

The new Silver instead are applied to matt surfaces: Latte (Mil white) to obtain Silver White and Carbone (Coal grey) to obtain Silver Black. At the moment, they are only available on Roll and Miniwash countertop washbasins, the goclean Link wall hung toilet bowl and the gosilent App wall hung toilet bowl. The silvery finish characterises the outer surface of the toilet bowls and the washbasins, whilst the inner part, intended for use, is matt Carbone or matt Latte. The price of the silver finish for sanitary ware is higher than that of coloured or metallic finishes.
