In the previous articles,  Ceramica Flaminia has focused his attention on the analysis of famous paintings related to the bathroom, like the works of art by Tintoretto and Frida Kahlo.

These artist are not the ones who have dedicated their imagination to paint bathroom, a place of the house that, in the collective imagination, is seen as a private space that could not be shared with the outside world.

For the section dedicated to art and bathroom, Ceramica Flaminia focus its curiosity on the art of the colombian artist, Fernando Botero, who has devoted an entire series of works to the representation of the bathrooms. His characters are naked, to underline the soft and large shapes of their body, that seem dilated.

The colors are clear but at the same time valued and intense, in perfect Botero style. There aren’t shadows and strong contours: everything seems pure and innocent.

People are portrayed in common daily actions, immortalized in their simplicity.  While the subjects are lost in their empty eyes, their size lead them in centre of the scene.
