Presented during Milan Design Week 2026, the new Hasu collection by Flaminia expands the concept of the contemporary washbasin through sculptural shapes and a color palette inspired by nature. The protagonists are the new glossy finishes Miele, Tundra and Castagno: three sophisticated shades designed to enhance the architectural identity of the collection created by Giulio Iacchetti.
Hasu: the washbasin inspired by the lotus flower
Hasu was born from the collaboration between Flaminia and Giulio Iacchetti, the award-winning Italian industrial designer. The name comes from the Japanese word for “lotus flower”, a symbol of purity and harmony. This inspiration is reflected in a washbasin with soft, essential lines that rises delicately from the countertop like a blooming flower.
The collection includes countertop washbasins and freestanding versions with a tapered pedestal, available in a round 44 cm model and an oval 58 cm version. Its slim silhouette and reduced base transform Hasu into a sculptural bathroom element with a strong visual presence.
Miele, Tundra and Castagno: three new glossy colors inspired by nature
With Hasu, Flaminia introduces three new glossy finishes that expand the brand’s color palette: Miele, Tundra and Castagno. Warm, enveloping shades inspired by natural landscapes and organic materials, perfectly aligned with contemporary bathroom design trends.
