Flaminia news: Spire+ and Astra.

Milano Design Week is the rendez-vous not to be missed by interior design professionals and enthusiasts. Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone are the locations where new design and furniture trends find expression in innovative solutions.

At this year’s edition of Milano Design Week, Flaminia displayed two new proposals: a collection of counter-top washbasins designed by Elena Salmistraro and the line of wall-hung and back-to-wall sanitary ware designed by Giulio Cappellini.

Spire evolves into Spire+

Spire, the designer countertop washbasin styled by the young and talented designer, becomes an even more enticing washbasin in the new Spire+ version. The presence on the substantial border of the basin of a relief pattern reminiscent of shell coils makes the concept behind the design of the basin more explicit. The decoration applied to the variable cross-section border evokes organic forms and natural geometries.

It is a modern design washbasin, available in both round and oval versions, in the brand’s various colours.

Astra, one-piece sanitary ware

Also on display at the trade fair was Astra, a new collection of wall-hung and back-to-wall toilets and bidets designed by Giulio Cappellini, available in the goclean version and with Plus drainage system.  The great expressive force arising from the monolithic construction of these elements is softened by lightly chamfered edges. Simple, straightforward ceramic creations, where attention to detail is clearly evident.

The new version of Spire and the Astra line of sanitary ware displayed at the Milan trade fair characterise the brand’s new take on bathroom furniture and fittings.
