The arrival of the new year always brings with it infinite innovations and the bathroom furniture sector is not different. From design to colors, from styles to finishes, from materials to coatings: while on the one hand some trends have gone out of fashion, many, on the other hand, will represent the new 2020 bathroom furniture trends. Let’s find out together.
#1 The most trendy styles
The trendiest furniture styles in 2020 will be different: once again the industrial is confirmed among the most loved, together with the Scandinavian and rustic-chic. Green light for even the most minimalist and contemporary styles, characterized by practical and functional elements that focus on essential design and captivating shapes, albeit always linear and without frills. But the most popular style is vintage, with clear references to the 60s / 70s / 80s revisited in a modern key and with particular attention to details. If you also want to furnish the bathroom in a vintage style, the Efi line proposed by Ceramica Flaminia is for you: this collection features sanitary ware characterized by sweet and rounded shapes, classic and at the same time extremely current.
#2 Colors and coatings
As for the coverings, the return of the mosaic, of the ceramic tiles for entire walls or only for the shower room is confirmed this year. Tiles with geometric designs or elegant decorations, inspired by traditional glazed majolica. Also as regards the colors, the trends launched in the previous year are followed: therefore, a neutral color palette is favored, with a propensity towards delicate and soft shades. The news? The pink! This color, in its most varied shades, makes the environment harmonious, relaxing and pleasant.
#3 Sanitary ware, basins and taps
The sanitary fixtures are increasingly compact, characterized by a minimal, sober and glitz-free design. The washbasins become thinner (see for example the new products of the App line). Flaminia offers two new App countertop washbasins, 62 and 40 cm. Two elegant basins one round and one oval with extremely thin edges, refined and ideal for any context. The taps take on an extremely important role, transforming themselves into the detail that makes the difference. Matt finishes and opaque colors are also on trend: Flaminia offers the Flag collection designed by architect Alessio Pinto. This collection investigates the theme of color giving the colors an important role in the design experience.
#4 Bathroom furniture
Even the bathroom furniture will be minimalist and not very articulated. The trendiest solutions are linear and thin ones, characterized by a simple aesthetic, but decidedly refined and elegant. Flaminia proposes Filo, the new series of washbasin bases made of thin stainless steel wire in matt black and completed by a matching satin glass top. For a more modern look and to create an accent wall, backlit mirrors are the most popular solution (see the new Flag mirror).
#5 The materials
Also with regard to materials, the protagonists are confirmed as natural ones: ceramic, stone, cement, marble, wood and hot metals such as brass, fascinating and refined, make the bathroom a room of great impact.
