Flaminia will be the ambassador of Made in Italy design excellence at the international trade fair ISH Frankfurt 2019, a biennial event dedicated to modern bathroom design and sustainable heating scheduled for March 11th to 15th 2019. On the occasion, the company will unveil the new bathroom furnishing trends in its catalog, born from the collaboration with the most important contemporary designers. Let’s find out what awaits us.
An exceptional exhibition space
Flaminia – synonymous of a lifestyle immediately recognizable and appreciated worldwide – will unveil its products (among iconic collections and latest innovations) in the exhibition space designed by Giulio Cappellini (15 year-long art director of the brand) that invites visitors to explore the Flaminia world from various angles: through the large display windows or from inside, in a sequence of different atmospheres.
Flaminia’s new collections
In an endless play of stylistic references and innovative solutions, Flaminia showcases the new Madre collection designed by Angeletti and Ruzza, whose forms reinterpret the pre-rationalist language of the thirties’ architectural movement, bringing it up to date with lines and proportions that are decidedly contemporary.
Instead, it is the Baroque style which transpires from the Settecento washbasin signed by Giulio Cappellini: inspired by the marble holy water fonts typically seen in churches of that period, and which reiterates the generous proportions of the basin and the external motif of regular grooves.
Flaminia also offers the three App bath tubs of simple flowing lines, presented in various glossy and matt finishes made of Pietraluce®, a highly technological composite material, which feels and looks like ceramic.
At Frankfurt, the company dedicates space to a multitude of products such as the recently launched NudaSlim washbasins and the NudaFlat console by Ludovica e Roberto Palomba showcased in their new colours. Also on display are the App, Pass, Nile, Bonola, Fontana, Saltodacqua, Miniwash, WaterDrop, Io 2.0 and Bloom collections, along with bestselling products such as Link, Spin and Monoroll which continue to be on-trend, also thanks to their colour palette, already used by Flaminia back in the sixties.
Flaminia and the new bathroom decor trends of 2019
New colors
Contemporary living trends have prompted Flaminia to probe the sphere of matt colours borrowed from the automotive industry and fashion references for application on washbasins, WC and bidets. The new palette shows a preference for the three-dimensionality of colours such as Argilla (a neutral, warm and subtle shade of great versatility, which is perfect for refined decors) Rosso Rubens (an elegant and passionate colour, which lends itself perfectly to both modern contexts and decors played out in a retro style)and Petrolio (is a deep, intense colour that is ideal for bathrooms, capable of taking the mind to exotic, far-off places).
Innovative solutions
The WCs on display are all equipped with the goclean® system which revolutionizes toilet cleaning with a controlled flush that make this system more practical to use and reduce water consumption.
A central position on the stand is also dedicated to the Plus System, a drainage system designed for back to wall pans purposely studied for adaptation to existing drainage systems, making this an excellent solution in bathroom renovation projects.
Avant-garde technical solutions like these, combined with an elevated stylistic awareness, enable Flaminia to deliver the highest standards of comfort.
Bathroom Lighting
ISH 2019 is also an opportunity to show the new projects from Flaminia Lighting. The ceramic material is shaped to create refined lighting fixtures which once again reveal the company’s capacity for valorising the potential of this material and the manufacturing quality of the Made in Italy cachet. Alongside Saltodacqua and Make- Up, the newly released Lux wall and ceiling fixtures designed by Patrick Norguet are also being presented.
Furnishing complements
Mirrors, tapware, towel rails, accessories and furnishing elements – such as the recently launched BrickSlim ceramic shelves – are all signed by Flaminia and can be discovered ad ISH Frankfurt 2019.
