Wall-hung sanitaryware: beautiful and practical<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wall-hung wcs and bidets are becoming prominent in manufacturers’ catalogues, and the Flaminia catalogue is no exception. But what should we take into account when installing wall-hung sanitary ware?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fist consideration is the type of wall on which to install them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When installing wall-hung sanitaryware<\/strong> on a plasterboard<\/strong> wall, it is necessary to use a concealed cistern with a metal frame. Brackets for wall mounted sanitary ware cannot be used in that the installation would not be secure enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, for the installation of wall-hung wcs <\/strong>on a standard wall, you can choose between fixing them to the wall with universal brackets<\/strong> or with a concealed cistern fitted with a metal frame. Generally, wcs are fixed to the brackets with fasteners, but some models may not need them. Wall-hung fixtures<\/strong> in fact, generally come with a specific mounting kit<\/strong> especially when the model is narrow and does not have sufficient space for installation from underneath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wider models, such as those in the Spin,<\/a> Link<\/a><\/strong> and Nile<\/a><\/strong> collections in Flaminia\u2019s catalogue, do not require fasteners. For these wcs you can use the screws and nuts supplied with the brackets. The rules described above for wall-hung wcs also apply to the installation of wall-hung bidets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
