A real journey through trends and the concepts related to bathroom interior decoration. The design became part of the bathroom interior decoration only during the 90s, until this period, the bathroom was seen only like a service ambient, as if it were a room to hide.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A new approach to design of the sanitary ceramics<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In the early 90s Flaminia starts a path of radical transformation, a real enterprise renovation, both for the production and the philosofy. The design becomes an important part of Flaminia projects. <strong>Roberto Palomba<\/strong> and then, <strong>Giulio Cappellini<\/strong> (designer of international fame), will have the artistic direction and they will be decisive in the renovation process also for the enterprise growth. The main object is to combine the concept of comfort with the domestic daily, from here an intensive research on the design of the bathroom fixtures and on interior design bathroom in general. The service ambient has, in this way, a new identity, becoming the space of house for relaxing and care of yourself.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The colours of the bathroom fixtures in the 90s <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The minimalism becomes the key style in every interior decoration sector, sober and clear lines draw essential and geometric shapes. The stylistic approach evolves with the new lines, different for this sector, and the use of colours becomes selected. The <a title=\"Acquagrande washbasin\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ceramicaflaminia.it\/en\/products\/275-acquagrande\/filter\/38-lavabi\">washbasin Acquagrande<\/a> design belongs to this period: it\u2019s a washbasin icon of the contemporary bathroom, characterized by square shapes and important volumes, revolutionary peculiarities for that period. The vivid shades leaves space to soft and clear colours, where the white is a real protagonist, combined to materials like wood or surfaces without decorations. The white come back in fashion, leaving the space only to <a title=\"bathroom shades black furniture\" href=\"http:\/\/magazine.ceramicaflaminia.it\/en\/2016\/07\/28\/bathroom-shades-black-how-furnish\/\">Black<\/a>, a strong and decisive shade. Both colours will mark this period.<\/p>\n<p>Only later you can found neutral shades like antracite, grafite and grey, characterized by matt surface.
