Several times we have focused our attention on the bathroom story. Who did invent it and the various types of uses that has had over time? In Italy, how did the evolution of the bathroom happen?<\/p>\n

In the next articles we will analyze which are the main differences between a bath of the 60 ‘ and one of the current style.<\/p>\n

Size of the bathroom<\/h2>\n

The first aspect to focus on is the big change in the dimension of this space. Nowadays the bathrooms are obtained in any corner of the house, creating mechanical ventilation systems and installing different types of drain. This happens because the buildings have dimension less extended and people tend to use so much space for the living room, the kitchen and, in some cases for bedrooms. In the past, rather, the apartments had big sizes, a bathroom used as a laundry room and a main bathroom with tub, in which maybe mothers had to wash several children together.<\/p>\n

Bathroom fittings<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In past years almost nobody paid attention to the style of the taps. They were in the most cases bigger than the current design product. Maybe someone will still remember that in the past there were taps with two knobs to regulate the water temperature. Today the system use a single lever to mix the water and obtain the desider temperature in fews seconds. Moreover, thanks to the many design products, you can match the shape of the fitting to the bathroom fixture style. For example you can use a square tap for squared or rectangular hand basin.<\/p>\n
